Brother George Washington
Let me suggest that the downfall of Freemasonry today is the, “get in the chairs, follow the leader,” philosophy. Not EVERY Brother makes a good Warden, Deacon or even WM. Lodges that excel one year and then decline the next are because the next guy in line, may KNOW the work, but does he have leadership skills? In days of Old the Brethren would vote in the SAME Master year after year because he did such an excellent job. Today it’s, follow the leader, East in 7 years, then sit on the sidelines. Feelings will be hurt, but WE are all MEN. We need to stop playing “it’s his turn” and vote for the BEST man for the Job.
